As part of the MBA Orientation Program for the batch 2025- 2027, Amrita School of Business, Coimbatore had a privilege of hosting Ms. Raakhee Jayakrishnan, Senior Director at BNY Mellon International (India) Pvt Ltd.
She shared powerful insights on career growth, adaptability, and the future of work—reminding us to learn with purpose, not pressure, and to embrace change as we step into dynamic environments like B-school and beyond.
Ms. Raakhee highlighted how AI will reshape workplaces by taking over repetitive tasks, making it essential for us to become AI-aware. She also emphasized that future hiring will be based more on skills and adaptability than just degrees.
Her analogy of careers being like a “jungle gym” rather than a ladder was especially inspiring encouraging us to explore diverse paths and stay open to new opportunities. She also addressed the unique challenges faced by women in corporate life, stressing the importance of resilience and inclusivity.
