Tarang 2025: A Resounding Success

Amrita College of Nursing, Faridabad, witnessed an awe-inspiring celebration of creativity with Tarang 2025, the annual inter-house arts festival. Under the guidance of Principal Prof. Dr. Lekha Vishwanath, the campus transformed into a hub of artistic expression, bringing together students from four houses—Prithvi, Agni, Vayu, and Jalam. The three-day event showcased the diverse and remarkable talents of students, who participated in a wide range of cultural events.

The festival featured 52 events spread across five core categories: Music, Dance, Fine Arts, Literature, and Theatre. These events provided a platform for students to display their artistic prowess. The Music category captivated the audience with soul-stirring solo performances and powerful group harmonies. From classical renditions to contemporary compositions, the musical variety was a true reflection of the students’ versatility.

The Dance performances were a highlight of the festival, where the stage came alive with intricate choreography and powerful storytelling. Group performances displayed incredible coordination, while solo acts captured individual creativity. The Fine Arts section showcased breathtaking works, including paintings, sculptures, and digital art, with each piece offering a unique insight into the students’ artistic expressions.

In the Literature category, students engaged in debates, poetry recitations, and storytelling, demonstrating their command over the written and spoken word. Theatre performances brought stories to life, with students engaging in drama, comedy, and social commentary, displaying impressive acting skills and teamwork.

The competition was fierce, with Prithvi House, last year’s champion, determined to defend their title. However, it was JALAM House that emerged victorious, amassing the highest number of points through a series of outstanding performances across all categories. Their meticulous preparation, exceptional teamwork, and unwavering passion for the arts led them to victory. The announcement of JALAM House as the winners was met with loud cheers, symbolizing not just their triumph but the spirit of artistic excellence that defined the festival.

Day 1 kicked off with a burst of energy, featuring solo songs, mono acts, mimicry, folk dance, and art activities such as poster and pencil sketching. Debates and recitations added to the excitement, keeping the crowd engaged and enthusiastic.

Day 2 witnessed pure creative chaos, with stand-up comedy, extempore speeches, and a personality contest lighting up the stage. The campus transformed into a color-filled masterpiece, with doodles and rangolis adding to the vibrant atmosphere.

Day 3 marked the grand finale with group dances, skits, mime performances, and ADZAP (advertisement-making competition). The final round of the personality contest wrapped up the event with flair, leaving everyone with unforgettable memories.

While the Tarang 2025 Ever-Rolling Trophy now resides with JALAM House, the true legacy of the festival lies in the incredible talent, dedication, and sportsmanship displayed by all participants. The festival served as a reminder of the power of art to unite, inspire, and push boundaries. It was an unforgettable experience for all, highlighting the importance of creativity in fostering unity and celebrating diversity.
