Students from the Department of Conservative Dentistry, Amrita School of Dentistry, brought laurels to the institution at the 33rd National Conference of the Indian Endodontic Society (IESCON) 2025, held in Goa. Their outstanding research presentations stood out among participants from leading dental institutions across the country.
Dr. Rayaz Rasheed Moopan (Final Year PG) secured the First Prize for his paper titled “Navigating the Endodontist’s Nightmare: Case Series on Instrument Retrieval.” His study explored innovative approaches to one of the most complex challenges in clinical endodontics, earning appreciation for its practical insights and clinical relevance.
Dr. Annie K. James (Final Year PG) won the Second Prize for her paper titled “Comparative Evaluation of Different Adhesive Strategies on Cuspal Deflection of Posterior Teeth with Mesio-Occluso-Distal Preparations: An In-Vitro Study.” Her research contributed to advancing knowledge in adhesive dentistry and restorative techniques.
These remarkable achievements reflect the department’s commitment to fostering research excellence and clinical innovation under the guidance of dedicated faculty mentors.
