Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham Partners with WeXL AI to Launch AI-Powered Career Readiness Initiative

Amritapuri (Kollam): Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham has announced a strategic partnership with leading deep-tech company WeXL AI to equip students with globally relevant communication and workplace skills through advanced Artificial Intelligence technologies. The initiative aims to prepare students for careers in leading multinational companies by integrating AI-driven learning systems into the academic ecosystem.

The partnership was officially announced by Dr. Balakrishnan Shankar, Dean, Amrita School of Engineering; Brahmachari Vishwanathamrita Chaitanya, Head, Corporate and Industrial Relations; and WeXL AI founders Naveen Kumar Linga and Bharat Akinepalli.

As part of the initiative, three major AI-powered platforms will be introduced across Amrita campuses and institutions. These include the Bharat English Test (BET), an AI-enabled English proficiency assessment designed for Indian learners; FluentEdge Adaptive AI Engine, which identifies individual learning gaps and delivers personalised learning pathways; and the AI Business Communication Gym, a digital training platform that helps students improve pronunciation, speaking style, confidence, and workplace communication skills in real time.

WeXL AI will serve as the official technology partner for the programme. The initiative will also contribute to the development of one of the world’s largest Indian voice datasets, with a focus on Indian accents, regional speech patterns, and academic communication.

Officially launched in April 2026, the initiative will bring advanced AI technologies to Amrita’s campuses and educational institutions, with the broader goal of enhancing students’ communication abilities, confidence, and employability in global work environments.
