Amrita Win Prizes in Physician Assistant Continuing Education – “PACE 2019”

The students and faculty members of Amrita Institute of Medical Sciences, Kochi, bagged following prizes in the Physician Assistant Continuing Education – “PACE 2019” in connection with Annual meeting of Indian Association of Physician Assistants – Kerala Chapter, held on October 6, 2019, at Holiday Inn, Kochi. 

Student Wins First in Oral Presentation at LABORION -2019 - National CME on Recent Advances in MLT

Ms. Aswathy Anilkumar, first year M. Sc. MLT, Pathology Specialization, won the first position in the Oral Presentation titled "Acquired Hemophilia- The Role of Laboratory in Diagnosis and Management" at the LABORION -2019 - National CME on Recent Advances in MLT, organized by Government Medical College, Trivandrum, on May 29, 2019.
 

Allied Health Sciences Students Win in Indian Association of Respiratory Care's Conference

In yet another demonstration of their excellence, students of B. Sc. Respiratory Therapy from Amrita Centre for Allied Health Sciences have bagged several prizes in the intercollegiate competitions conducted as a part of the 12th National Annual Conference of Indian Association of Respiratory Care (RESCARE '18), held at Narayana Health City, Bangalore, from October 11-14, 2018.

AIMS Disaster Management Medical Team Departed for Rajasthan & Gujarat to Extend Medical Aid to Flood Affected Areas

The Disaster Management Medical Team from Amrita Institute of Medical Sciences, Kochi departed for Rajasthan and Gujarat to extend all necessary medical aid to the needy patients in the flood affected areas. Ernakulam District Collector M. G. Rajamanickam flagged off the 25-member medical team on August 05, 2015. 

Amrita Craniofacial Surgery Symposium 2015 Held

The first Amrita Craniofacial Surgery Symposium was held at the Amrita Institute of Medical Sciences from June 19 – 21, 2015. Jointly organized by the departments of Craniomaxillofacial Surgery, Paediatric Neurosurgery and Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at Amrita, the symposium focused on the comprehensive management of craniofacial deformities. 

Vishukkaineettam Vrikshathaineettam Project Inaugurated

Sri. K. Babu, Honorable Minister for Fisheries, Ports and Excise, inaugurated the project 'Vishukkaineettam Vrikshathaineettam' by handing over a sapling to cine actress, Seema G. Nair on April 14, 2015 at Amrita Health Sciences Campus, Kochi. “This project envisaged by AMMA is a novel venture and a fine model for environmental protection,” said Sri K. Babu.

AIMS Disaster Management Medical Team Reached Out to the Flood Affected Areas in Jammu & Kashmir
