Higher Studies & Research Opportunities

The department serves as a talent foundry, and our students have prominently joined top institutes across the world for higher studies, as a testament to our curriculum, student quality, and teaching. The 1^st Batch from the department passed out in 2011. In the last 15 batches, 228 out of around 1000 students have been selected to pursue their Masters/ Research programmes in IITs/IISc and top ranking universities around the world. In the last 15 batches, 215 students have secured ranks amongst the top 500 in GATE exam. Out of these, 37 students were placed within the top 50 and 12 students within the top 10 ranks. In the past 5 years alone, 86 out of around 330 students in the B.Tech. programme have cleared GATE exam.

7 students were selected to pursue their academics through international Student Exchange Program.
