Bio

Dr. Maran Ponnambalam is an Assistant Professor (Sr. Gr.) in the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, School of Engineering, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Chennai campus.

Dr. Maran completed his BTech in Electronics and Communication Engineering from St. Peters Engineering College, Chennai, in 2011, and ME in VLSI Design from SSN College of Engineering, Anna University, Chennai, in 2013. He received his PhD from Anna University, Chennai, in 2018. He has 3 years research experience as Junior Research Fellow in SSN College of Engineering, as part of his full-time PhD and 6 months as Research Assistant in SSN College of Engineering. He worked as an Assistant Professor in RMK College of Engineering for 1 year from 2017 to 2018 and as Assistant Professor (Sr Gr.) in Amrita School of Engineering, Bangalore Campus, for 3 years, from 2018 to 2021.

Dr. Maran has 5 international journal publications, 1 national and 6 international conference publications. His research interests include design and analysis of VCO, Harmonic rejection high linear CMOS Mixers, RF micro-strip filters, Design of low NF wideband LNA for 60 GHz applications.
