Bio

Dr. Sakthivel Thangavel currently serves as Assistant Professor (Sr. Gd.) at the Department of Aerospace Engineering, School of Engineering, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Coimbatore.

He worked as a DAAD – Postdoctoral Fellow at Institute of flight systems and Technique, DLR – Deutsches Zentrum für Luft- und Raumfahrt (German Aerospace Centre), Braunschweig from Feb 2018- Jan 2020. He Continued as a research engineer at the same institute from Feb 2020 to Oct 2020. At DLR, the research focus was on developing versatile aeromechanical simulation tool for rotorcraft using multi-body dynamics. He also worked as Research Fellow at IIT Jodhpur from May 2021 to August 2021. I took part in ISRO funded project named Dynamic studies for Half-humanoid & Space flying robot.
