Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham’s vibrant open-source community, amFOSS, is delighted to celebrate another proud moment at Google Summer of Code 2026. This globally recognized initiative brings together passionate developers from around the world to contribute to impactful open-source projects over an intensive 12-week period.
We are proud to share that four of our exceptional students, Abhinav M, Gautham Mohanraj, Rohith K Pradeep, and Ashish Karanam have been selected as contributors for this year’s program. Their achievement stands as a testament to their dedication, consistency, and deep passion for open-source development, values that resonate strongly with the culture we foster at Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham.
This milestone further strengthens Amrita’s legacy of nurturing talented individuals who make their mark on global platforms. Through this opportunity, our students will collaborate with international organizations, gain invaluable exposure, refine their technical expertise, and contribute to impactful projects that serve the broader technology community.
We are eager to witness their contributions and the growth of our vibrant community.
