Annapurani R., Intern, represented Amrita School of Dentistry at the first National Dental Students’ Workshop organized in collaboration with the Dental Council of India at Ahmedabad, on January 7-8, 2017. She received the award for scoring the top marks in the BDS Examinations (first year to final year aggregate) from Dr. Dibyendu Mazumdar, Hon. President, Dental Council of India. The award, instituted by the Dental Council of India to promote dental students excelling in their academics, is being given for the first time in the country.
