Dr. Prashant R. Nair, Vice-Chairman – IQAC, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Coimbatore campus, addressed a one-day seminar on “National Educational Policy (NEP) 2020 for Higher Education” for 135+ senior faculty and administrators of Vel Tech University, Chennai on 30 December 2022. The seminar was presided over by Dr. S. Salivahanan, Vice-Chancellor of the university. Dr. Prashant R. Nair handled two sessions, namely an overview of NEP2020 and the curriculum framework alignment for NEP. He also highlighted various curricular innovations and best practices of AMRITA, such as the Department Academic Advisory Committee (DAAC), cultural education, life skills, and experiential learning programs.
