Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham’s Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) is mentoring several higher educational institutions pan-India in terms of conducting workshops, training programs, and conducting Academic and Administrative Audits (AAA). As part of this IQAC outreach program, Dr. Prashant R. Nair, Vice-Chairman – IQAC, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Coimbatore campus, conducted a one-day workshop on “Outcome-based Education (OBE)” for 150+ faculty members of Sri Krishna College of Technology (SKCT), Coimbatore on 28th December 2023 as part of a Faculty Development Program (FDP) on Transformative Learning. Dr. Sumithra MG, Principal, SKCT, presided over the workshop, which was organized by Dr. Sreevidya V., Professor of Civil Engineering, and Dr. Padmanaban I., Head of the Department of Civil Engineering at SKCT. Dr. Prashant covered topics such as Bloom’s taxonomy, question paper design, Course Outcome (CO) design & attainment, CO-PO mapping, and closing the loop. This workshop also featured a hands-on session on CO formulation and question paper design by Dr. Prashant R. Nair for the benefit of the faculty of the college.
