Asia’s premier magazine on education, digitalLEARNING Magazine ranked Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham among the top engineering colleges in South India. Prof. Kamal Bijlani, Director, E-Learning Research Center, represented Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham for the felicitation ceremony held on 21st August during the World Education Summit 2015 at New Delhi.
During the two day conference, Prof. Kamal delivered a talk titled “Learning Today: Mobile, Virtual, Interactive.” The event was honoured by Dr. Daljit Singh Cheema, Minister, Dept. of School Education, Punjab and Shri. Manish Sisodia, Deputy Chief Minister, Govt. of NCT, Delhi.
Since 2011, the annual event has provided a convergence of Who’s Who in the country’s educational system. The summit was very informative and worthwhile. Global education leaders tried to map out the challenges and opportunities in the education sector as envisioned by the Modi Government and the Ministry of Skill Development.
