Since 1999, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham has been recognized as a Cisco Networking Academy, winning many accolades from the global corporation for consistent excellence. The Cisco Networking Academy at Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Coimbatore campus, also functions as an Instructor Training Center and Cisco has recognized Ms. Kohila Lakshmikanthan, Senior Academy Instructor at the Center as an Expert Level Instructor this year. The award, based on student feedback, places her among the best 10 percent of Cisco Instructors worldwide. The public announcement of this award can be viewed at Cisco NetAcad Recognition Program.

Along with this recognition, Ms. Kohila was also honored at the recently held ‘Cisco Networking Academy Conference India 2019’ at Bangalore. At the event conducted from February 11-12,  2019, she and Mr. Sreevalsan Moothedath, Head – ICTS, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Coimbatore campus, were recognized for their exemplary performance during the ‘Cisco Networking Academy Cybersecurity Learn-A-Thon’ held from July 16-18, 2018. The Learn-A-Thon was an exercise to discover fresh talent in the cybersecurity sector. Mr. Gopakumar P., Manager, Systems and Network, ICTS, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Coimbatore campus, was also recognized at the event for 15 years of active participation and dedicated service with Cisco Networking Academy.
