Debate Competition on Corruption Free India at Amrita Mysuru Campus

Bharat Earth Movers Ltd., (BEML) a public sector undertaking, in collaboration with the Department of Management and Commerce, School of Arts and Sciences, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Mysuru campus, conducted a debate competition for the students of Amrita, as part of their Vigilance Awareness Week, with the theme “My Vision: Corruption Free India”.

The integrity pledge was administered to 22 participants from various departments. The qualitative deliberation between the panel and students provided awareness on the rules and regulation of the Anti-corruption Act which is fundamentally required to be known by citizens of India. The winners of the debate competition were Aravind Hariharan, B. Com. semester V – Taxation who won first prize, Y. Akila, BBM semester V who won second prize and Zubin Paul, B. Sc. Visual Media semester V who won third prize. Cash prizes were distributed to the winners.
