Dr. Ram R. Bishu, Professor, Department of Mechanical and Material Engineering, University of Nebraska– Lincoln, also the Education Chair, American Society for Quality trained the 2nd year MBA students of Amrita School of Business (ASB), Coimbatore in Six Sigma Yellow Belt in a one-day session held at the campus on 4 July 2015.

The training provided the students a comprehension of the fundamental methodologies and tools utilized for Six Sigma, enabling them to gain a Six Sigma Yellow Belt certification approved by Dr. Bishu. Nearly 50 students and faculty members participated in the training.

The training covered the topics– definition, measurement, analysis, improvement and control aspects of Six Sigma Yellow Belt. Students, who have recently returned from their summer placements found the workshop extremely useful and beneficial to their career.
