Dr. Chandrashekar Janakiram, Professor and Head of the Department of Public Health Dentistry, School of Dentistry, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Kochi, successfully completed a fellowship in Oral Health Informatics (OHI) and a residency in Dental Public Health from the National Institute of Dental and Craniofacial Research (NIDCR) and the National Library of Medicine (NLM), National Institutes of Health, USA. The duration of the fellowship  was from July 1, 2017 to June 30, 2019. This 2 year full time post-doctoral fellowship is training that is research-focused in the areas of informatics science and dental public health. This fellowship will lead to the completion of the Diplomate Exam of American Board of Dental Public Health.
