Dr. Prashant R. Nair, Vice-Chairman – Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC), Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Coimbatore campus, has secured the following IEEE recognitions in 2024:

• Renominated for a second term as Chair of the IEEE.tv advisory committee. IEEE.tv is an award-winning, internet-based television network with a 7000+ video archive, that produces and delivers special-interest programming about technology and engineering for the benefit of IEEE’s members and the general public. IEEE.tv’s advisory committee is one of the 22 global committees of the IEEE MGA board, servicing 450,000+ members of IEEE worldwide.
• Renominated for a second term as Associate Editor of IEEE Potentials, an award-winning student magazine established in 1982 with a circulation of 1.3 lakhs, providing undergraduate and graduate students with content addressing global issues, career development topics, and technology trends. IEEE Potentials is also recognized as a Q2 journal in Scopus.
