'Best Institution of the Year - Tech & Innovation Eco-system' Award for Amrita School of Engineering, Coimbatore

The School of Engineering, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Coimbatore campus, has been conferred the award of 'Best Institution of the year - Tech & Innovation Eco-system' at the Computer Society of India's (CSI) TechNext India 2019 event at Mumbai, on September 28, 2019.

Amrita IQAC Chair Elected to Coimbatore Management Association Managing Committee

Prof. Prashant R. Nair, Chairman, Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC), Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, has been elected to the Managing Committee of the Coimbatore Management Association (CMA) for the period 2019-2021, at the 64th Annual General Meeting, held on September 23, 2019. 

Amrita Students' '3am Scripts' - A Fun Music YouTube Channel

A group of students from Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Coimbatore campus, started '3am Scripts', a fun music channel on YouTube in the year 2016. They were brought together by their love for music even though they belonged to different departments. 3am Scripts includes five permanent members and three guest singers.

Amrita Students Win Tech Challenge TCS EngiNx 2019

The students from the School of Engineering, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Coimbatore campus, have won the TCS EngiNx for creating wearable devices for suppression and nullificatiion of hand tremors. Tata Consultancy Services, (TCS) has hosted the grand finale of the seventh edition of its premier engineering and Internet of Things (IoT) challenge, EngiNX – Engineering for the Next Generation in Kolkatta. The winners were awarded a grand prize of Rs 5 lakh. All the finalists received provisional offers to join TCS after completing their engineering degrees.
