Bio

Dr. Divya Sasidharan is currently working as Assistant Professor (Sr. Gd.) in the Amrita School of Artificial Intelligence, Coimbatore, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, India. Dr. Divya completed her B.Tech in Instrumentation and Control Engineering from N.S.S. College of Engineering Palakkad, Kerala in 2010.Subseqently, she earned her M.E in Applied Electronics from Anna University Chennai in 2013. She earned her Ph.D. in Biomedical signal processing from N.S.S. College of Engineering under APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University Kerala with KTU CERD fellowship in 2023. Dr. Divya was also an integral part of the biomedical research team at N.S.S. College of Engineering Palakkad in achieving a granted Indian patent titled “System and method for identifying type II dominance in Rectus Femoris muscle of aspiring athletes” which was carried out in collaboration with IIT Madras. She was a Post Doctoral Fellow at Amrita School of Artificial Intelligence, Coimbatore, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, India during 2024-25. Her scholarly contributions are noteworthy, with several peer-reviewed publications, including book chapters and articles in esteemed international journals and conferences. She has extensive teaching experience with an expertise in acquisition of real-time signals and its analysis.
