Swagatham 2025: Amrita Centre for Allied Health Sciences Welcomes New Batch of Students

The Amrita Centre for Allied Health Sciences warmly welcomed the newly admitted undergraduate students of the 2025 batch through the Swagatham 2025 induction ceremony.

With over 700 attendees, the ceremony was inaugurated by Swami Purnamritananda Puri, General Secretary of Mata Amritanandamayi Math, who conducted a puja and shared Amma’s message, invoking blessings for the students’ academic journey. The event featured address by Dr. Gireesh Kumar K. P., Principal of Amrita School of Medicine, Dr Prem Nair, Provost, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, followed by the presidential address by Dr. P. Ajith Kumar, Registrar, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham. Speakers highlighted the importance of dedication, compassion, and holistic learning. The vote of thanks was offered by Prof. M. V. Thampi, Chief Program Administrator.

The second session of the day provided students with a comprehensive orientation. Sessions included an overview of academic regulations, university life, and co-curricular opportunities, led by Mr. Prasad V. G., Mr. Ebin V. Abraham, and Ms. Sreekala Lijo from the Amrita Centre for Allied Health Sciences. Swagatham 2025 marked the formal beginning of the academic year and offered a nurturing and value-based start to students stepping into the field of allied health sciences.
