The Very Large-Scale Integration Systems Architecture, Technology and Applications (VLSI SATA) Conference was established to foster knowledge creation, engineering education, research, and development, while enabling effective networking among researchers and practitioners. The conference also focuses on identifying emerging research groups and promoting collaborative opportunities. Conceived in 2015, the inaugural edition and the subsequent 2016, 2022, 2024, 2025 and 2027 editions were successfully published.

Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham is a multi-disciplinary, research-intensive private university with a student strength of over 30,000, supported by more than 2,000 faculty members. Established in 2002, the Department of Electronics & Communication Engineering admitted its first B. Tech. batches under Visveswaraya Technological University, Belgaum, Karnataka. In 2004, the Department became part of Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, gaining academic autonomy to design curricula aligned with emerging technologies and industry needs.
