Satvik Mishra and Shrivaths S Nair have been selected to contribute to the AI-on-Demand Platform & OpenML project as part of European Summer of Code 2026, working in collaboration with the German Center for Open Source AI.
The AI-on-Demand Platform is a flagship European initiative built to make trustworthy, open AI accessible to researchers, businesses, and public institutions across the continent and beyond. OpenML, the other half of their project, is a globally used open science platform that powers machine learning research worldwide. Together, they represent some of the most meaningful open infrastructure in the AI space today and two students from Amrita will now be shaping it.
amFOSS has always believed that students are capable of more than coursework. Satvik and Shrivaths are proof of that, contributing not to practice projects, but to platforms that matter at a global scale.
