Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham’s esteemed FOSS club, amFOSS, proudly announces another remarkable achievement! We are thrilled to share that our very own member, Naveen, has been selected for the prestigious Linux Foundation Mentorship (LFX) program, a global initiative that connects talented contributors with leading open-source organizations.
As part of this mentorship, Naveen will be working on Magma, an open-source mobile core network platform that enables flexible, scalable, and vendor-neutral cellular networks. Magma plays a key role in improving connectivity, especially in underserved and rural areas, and is shaping the future of cellular connectivity.
We wish Naveen continued success as they contribute to impactful open-source technologies and grow through this global mentorship experience. This is a proud moment for amFOSS and a testament to the club’s tradition of excellence in open-source contributions.
Congratulations, Naveen, and best of luck on this amazing journey of learning, building, and contributing to open source!
