The School of Engineering, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Coimbatore campus, will conduct a Webinar on ‘Glimpses into Aerospace Engineering’ on June 30, 2020. The webinar will be presented by Dr. Balajee Ramakrishnananda.
Dr. Balajee Ramakrishnananda completed his B.Tech in Aerospace Engineering from I.I.T Madras and M.E in Aerospace Engineering from the Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore.
He has worked as a Scientist in the National Aerospace Laboratory, Bangalore before obtaining his Doctoral degree from Nanyang Technological University, Singapore.
His industry experience of over 10 years includes working for AMD, Wipro, Singapore Technologies, and SGI in interdisciplinary areas such as GPGPU Computing, military visualization, and physics-based animation.
He is passionate about teaching and his research interests include wind turbines, Aerofoil design, Computational Fluid Dynamics and emerging areas such as Unconventional MAVs.
