Amrita Institute of Medical Sciences & ICMR National Institute of Medical Statistics (ICMR-NIMS) Virtual Conference

Two Day CME on Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning in Medicine

Dates: April 29 & 30, 2022

It is as if every facet of daily living has been touched by the “wonder tools” artificial intelligence (A)and its sibling machine learning (ML). From a virtual personal assistant to a self-driving or autonomous car, AI is in the process of redefining reality. The use of AI/ML has extended into all fields of health care also, diagnostics, therapeutics, data interpretation, risk assessment, robotics etc. There is no branch of medicine which has not benefited from the application of AI and ML. On this note Amrita Institute of Medical Sciences, Kochi (AIMS) and National Institute of Medical Statistics (ICMR-NIMS) have planned a full-day virtual conference for the 29th and 30th April (Friday & Saturday). We have an esteemed panel drawn from academia and industry, each an expert in his domain as speakers. The 2 day conference is intended for early career researchers (ECRs), medical graduates and post graduates, basic scientists and graduates from the various engineering streams interested in AI/ML. This is the first of a planned series which would cover different aspects of AI/ML applications in health care.
