Our Faculty

Started career in June 2009 as an Assistant Professor, Dept of Roganidana, Amrita School of Ayurveda, Kollam. In 2016, got promoted to Associate Professor. Now working as a Professor and head of the same department from March 2024 onwards. Meanwhile, I started Devaragam yoga centre, and around 200 students, as well as others, took PG diploma and MSc Yoga from here and got jobs, including in the government. sectors. From 2021 onwards, I worked alongside Mother Teresa’s palliative care team, providing treatment and care for bedridden patients, conducting medical camps, and awareness classes.

• Got Second prize in the National level paper presentation competition “ CHALANAM 2024” conducted by AVP Coimbatore on Ayurveda Day, 29 Oct 2024.
• Got Appreciation in the National level paper presentation competition “ CHALANAM 2024” conducted by AVP Coimbatore by Amrita School of Ayurveda, Kollam

1. Has completed six hours of GOOD CLINICAL PRACTICE by the NIDA Clinical Trials Network on 21-08-2025 and CTN Expiration date 21-08-2028.
2. Has completed a two-month online certificate program on Advanced Research Methodology & Biostatistics, under ITRA, Jamnagar, in collaboration with the Institute of Applied Statistics, Kanpur & CCRAS, New Delhi, from 01 July 2025 to 30 August 2025.
3. Has completed an educational activity entitled a certificate course on Basic Medical Education Technology in Ayurveda (B-Meta), from 30-7-2024 to 14-8-2024, by Kottakkal Ayurveda School of Excellence (KASE).
4. Has participated in the deliberations of the training program on Standardized Prakriti Assessment Scale & Ayur Prakriti portal impacted by the CCRAS and organized by Amrita School of Ayurveda on 2-3rd December 2024.
5. Has completed FDP on the application of AI in Research Methods and Manuscripts Drafting process (FDP AI RES3.0), organized by Eudoxia Research University, ERU-USA, on 12th November 2024

1. Presented a paper in the International Conference on Integrating AI in Ayurveda, on Hypothyroidism. Sep 26 2024.
2. Conducted a Gurukula session on the Easy Ayurveda platform about the role of Ayurveda in thyroid health and effective management of hypothyroidism. October 9, 2024.

7. A paper presented in a National-level online paper presentation competition, ANAMAYA, titled My Health My Right: Ayurveda for Global Health, held on 8th Jan 2025 in association with Samavarthanam 2024 at VPSV Ayurveda College, Kottakkal.
8. A paper presented in the International Conference Madukosham 2024, organized by the Department of PG studies in Roganidanam Ayurveda Mahavidyalaya on 27-28th December 2024, Belgavi, Karnataka.
9. A poster presented at a National seminar on Vasthi, Nirooham, held on 25- 26th November 2024, organized by National Ayurveda Research Institute for Panchakarma, Cheruthuruthy.
10. A paper presented in the VICHAKSHANA National-level paper presentation competition organized by the Government. Ayurveda Medical College, Kannur, on August 12, 2025.
