Bio

Dr. Rahul S. G. currently serves as Assistant Professor (Senior Grade) in the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, Amrita School of Engineering, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Chennai Campus.

He has over ten years of industry, teaching, and Research Experience. He has published 75+ Research Articles in Peer-reviewed International Journals (SCI, SCIE, and Scopus indexed journals) and conferences with the highest Journal Impact Factor of 8.4. In addition to that, he has filed 2 Indian Patents.

He actively collaborates with international researchers and has been involved in acquiring about Rs. 30 Lakhs of funding from international bodies such as IEEE and IET for various research, technical and professional development activities. He has experience in organizing technical symposiums, workshops, seasonal schools and industry–academia interaction events.

He is a Senior Member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE). He currently serves as the Treasurer of the IEEE Circuits and Systems Society (CASS), Madras Chapter and is also an Executive Committee Member of the IEEE Signal Processing Society (SPS), Madras Chapter for the calendar years 2026 and 2027.
