The annual 2019 Sulitest Report from was released during review of the 2030 Agenda through the High-level Political Forum (HLPF) at United Nations on July 11, 2019. Amrita School of Business was the only institution from India featured in this report. Dr. Raghu Raman, Chairman, Amrita School of Business, Coimbatore, represented Amrita at this annual event at the United Nations.

Under Chancellor Amma’s guidance, Amrita is committed to teaching sustainable development across all disciplines of study. MBA students study a core course called Environmental Management and Sustainable Development and undertake the Sulitest as part of the course. For over 4 years now, over 1000 MBA students have undertaken this test.

Sustainability Literacy Test (SULITEST) of the Higher Education Sustainability Initiative (HESI) is an online multiple choice question assessment. The Higher Education Sustainability Initiative (HESI), is a partnership between UN Global Compact’s Principles for Responsible Management Education (PRME) initiative, United Nations University (UNU) and other UN agencies. Through its strong association with the United Nations, HESI provides higher education institutions with a unique interface for higher education, science, and policy making.

During the official special event, Higher Education Institutions – key drivers of the Sustainable Development Goals organized by the Higher Education Sustainability Initiative (HESI), Sulitest has presented a mapping of the current level of awareness of the challenges addressed by the 17 SDGs.
