Amrita School of Business, Coimbatore organized a Research talk, inviting Dr. V.G Venkatesh to talk on ‘How to Integrate Practice into Research ‘on 24.01.2023 (Tuesday) in hybrid mode. The speaker – Dr. V.G Venkatesh is a corporate trainer and academic with PhD in global sourcing from Waikato University in New Zealand. He carries 22 years of experience with industry relations with various countries across the globe. He is a certified supply chain professional and his contribution as member of editorial board to many quality journals is a highlighting fact. The research talk installed a driving practice among the faculties and scholars of ASB, Coimbatore. The talk emphasized on conceptualization of any research idea and ways to initiate research. His suggestions like – not to work on less relevant topic, Harvard Business School cases as reference, start of one’s idea with blogs and articles, communicating with senior scholars, following Intervention based research or Mid-Range studies approach were found valuable. The talk stirred a consistency in the research practice of ASB, Coimbatore!
