Amritapuri Team Won First Prize at 34th Inter-University National & South Zone Youth Festivals

The student team of Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Amritapuri campus, bagged the first prize in Group Music (Indian) at the 34th Inter-University South Zone Youth Festival 2018 “Padmotsav” held from October 7-11, 2018, in Tirupati, Andhra Pradesh. South Zone comprises of over 100 universities in the region.

Student Invited to Present at ICPR Academic Centre, Lucknow

In another stellar display of the academic excellence of Amrita, Mr. Karthik Rajamanickam, a first year MA Philosophy student of Amrita Darshanam - International Centre for Spiritual Studies, has won top honors in a nation-wide essay competition for young scholars conducted by the Indian Council of Philosophical Research (ICPR) on the topic "Equality and Justice for Conducive Social Order". 

Student Wins Prize in All India Painting Competition "Story on Canvas"

Ms. Elena Santoro, a first year MA Philosophy student from Amrita Darshanam - International Centre for Spiritual Studies has secured the third prize in a national level painting competition titled ‘Story on Canvas’, organized by Nav Shri Art & Culture organization, New Delhi. The judges of the contest have found her canvas, titled ‘Beyond the Battle’ to be an extraordinary work of art that captured the spirit of Bhagavad Gita.

Ayurveda Students Win Awards at SAMMOHAN 2019 National Seminar

Dr. Swathy S. and Dr. Jwala Jayaram, second year PG scholars from the Department of Shalya Tantra, School of Ayurveda, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Amritapuri, have won first and second prize respectively for presenting scientific papers at the SAMMOHAN 2019 National Seminar and Hands-on Training of Regional and General Anaesthesia held at the Parul University, Vadodara, from February 7-8, 2019.

Students Win Prizes in the All India Essay Writing Event 2018

Seven students from the Amrita Health Sciences Campus, Kochi, were awarded prizes in the “All India Essay Writing Event 2018” (College - UG / PG category) organized by Shri Ram Chandra Mission in collaboration with United Nations Information Centre for India and Bhutan & Heartfulness Education Trust.

The 'Team Vision' and 'Team Exalt', two student hackathon teams from the School of Engineering, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Coimbatore campus, showcased outstanding performances and secured a prominent position among top 20 teams that represented India, in the 30 hour Singapore-India Hackathon 2018.
