Established in 2002, the School of Computing at Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Amritapuri Campus, is a hub of excellence in computer science education, research, and innovation. It houses two departments – Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) and Computer Science and Applications (CSA) – offering cutting-edge programs: BTech in CSE, BTech in CSE (AI), BTech in Data Science & AI, MTech in CSE (AI & ML), MTech in AI, and MCA.
Accredited by NAAC and contributing to the university’s consistent top positions in the NIRF rankings, the School fosters a vibrant ecosystem of students, researchers, and faculty. Over the years, it has built strong collaborations with leading national and international institutions. Faculty members are actively engaged in high-impact research projects, patent filings, and reputed publications, translating academic excellence into real-world technological advancements.

Research at the School spans areas such as Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Natural Language Processing, Computational Biosciences, Cybersecurity, Robotics, and more.
