Has a solid academic foundation and is a successful professional. He attended Amrita University and earned a BTech in Electronics and Communication. He firmly believes in comprehensive growth and has a background in both technical and managerial sectors, having earned a dual degree in management from Christ University in India and FHWS in Germany. He earned his Postgraduate Diploma in Marketing from Christ University and an MBA in International Business from a German institution. He is presently pursuing his PhD in frugal innovation at Amrita University. Working for well-known companies gave him the groundwork he needed to succeed in his career. At the Italian company Cucine Lube, based in Bangalore, he was the assistant sales manager. While working as a program analyst at Cognizant, he was able to refine his project management abilities and get a deeper comprehension of the information technology industry. Not only has Harikrishnan accomplished much in the business world, but he has also made important strides in the academic world. He dabbled with teaching at IMT Punnapra, which is part of Kerala University, and entered the field of education. Throughout the MBA program, he teaches courses like supply chain management, operations management, statistics, and logistics

Teaching Experience

Mr. Harikrishnan R began his academic career in 2016 as an Assistant Professor at an MBA college affiliated with Kerala University. In this role, he was responsible for teaching core MBA courses such as Statistics for Managers, Operations Management, and Management Information Systems, each carrying three credits. He also introduced and offered electives in the domain of Operations Management, with Logistics and Supply Chain Management being a key elective that he has consistently taught for over six years.
Having completed his MBA from the Technical University of Applied Sciences in Würzburg-Schweinfurt, Germany, Mr. Harikrishnan R developed a strong international perspective and a deep understanding of global business practices. He has successfully integrated these insights into the curriculum and teaching methodologies of the courses he handles.
Currently, he serves as a Faculty Associate at Amrita University, where he continues to teach core subjects such as Statistical Analysis and Operations Management for MBA students. In addition, he offers Logistics and Supply Chain Management as a core elective.
Mr. Harikrishnan R also actively guides final-year MBA students in their dissertation work. He encourages them to pursue research aligned with frugal innovation, supply chain, and logistics management—areas where he contributes significantly through his knowledge and mentorship. Under his guidance, many of these student research projects have been presented and published in Scopus-indexed conferences.
Through his dedication to teaching and research, Mr. Harikrishnan R continuously updates his expertise in statistical analysis and supply chain management, contributing to both academic excellence and the advancement of knowledge in these fields.
