Amrita IQAC coordinated a panel discussion on Innovation and Technology in Water & Sanitation.

Speaking in the panel, Dr. Maneesha said, “Amrita launched a massive drinking water project called Jeevamritam“. Under this project, we installed a clean drinking water system in 5000 villages all over India. Our target is to provide clean drinking water to 10 million people throughout India. The most beautiful thing about this project is that Amrita Faculty and students would go from villages to villages and deploy the drinking water system. It’s a beautiful example about an educational institution that does social cause and does research for a sustainable future”

Prabhushankar (Executive Director, Chennai Metropolitan Water Supply & Sewerage Board), Ankit Tulsyan (Project Manager (Water, Sanitation & Environment), Agence Francaise DE Development (AFD), French Development Agency) and Jigar Desai (Founder & C.T.O, RyDOT InfoTech Pvt Limited).
