A meeting was held with the Integrated Child Development Services (ICDS) Department for the Mizoram STI Hub on 26th April 2023. The discussion focused on skilling in digital literacy, substance abuse awareness in juvenile homes, EMRCs, and Swadhar Greh for women. The meeting also covered the topics of food and nutrition of adolescent girls and pregnant mothers, and supplementing Anganwadi meals with indigenous value-added foods of Mizoram. The meeting was conducted at Women and Child Development Department (WCD) in Mizoram, and was attended by Smt. Zoramthangi Chhangte, Director of WCD Mizoram. We are excited about the potential of these initiatives to improve the lives of women and children in Mizoram, and look forward to continuing our work with the ICDS Department.
