Dr. Maneesha V Ramesh, Pro-Vice Chancellor of Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, holds multiple portfolios such as Strategic Initiatives, Research & Innovation, Interdisciplinary and AI+X. She is the Dean of School for Sustainable Futures & Centre for International Programs, and the Director & Professor at Amrita Centre for Wireless Networks and Applications (AWNA). She has been ranked as one among the global top 2% scientists in the Networking & Telecommunication field, for the quality of her research by Stanford University for 4 consecutive years. As one of the world's leading scientist, she has carefully combined interdisciplinary domains of internet of things, meteorology, hydrology, geology and data science to build world's first AI integrated IoT based landslide early warning system
