Bio

Dr. Neethu Mohan is currently serving as Assistant Professor (Sr.Gr.) at the School of Artificial Intelligence, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Coimbatore Campus. She completed her Ph.D. under the guidance of Dr. Soman K. P. (Head & Professor, CEN. She holds a B.E. in Electronics and Communication Engineering from Anna University and a Master’s degree in Remote Sensing and Wireless Sensor Networks from Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham.

Her research broadly focuses on Artificial Intelligence for signal and image processing. Her key research interests include AI for Biomedical Data Analysis and Power System Applications, and the development of computational and data-driven algorithms. She has received research funding from the ICMR in collaboration with clinicians at AIMS, Kochi, for research work on “AI for Retinopathy of Prematurity Screening and Diagnosis.” This work reflects her interdisciplinary research contributions at the intersection of AI and healthcare.
