The Amrita Entrance Examination Engineering (AEEE) is an entrance test conducted by Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham for admission into its B.Tech programs.

No, you will be able to choose your campus and program during the Centralized Seat Allotment Process (CSAP), after the publication of AEEE 2026 ranks, based on seat availability and your rank or JEE Mains 2026 percentile.
Does Amrita offer admissions through a management quota?
There is no management quota. Admissions are categorised into Scholarship and Non-Scholarship categories. Admission through scholarship is based on AEEE/JEE performance.
Is lateral entry available for Diploma candidates?
No, there is no lateral entry admission for the B.Tech program.
Is AEEE mandatory, or will JEE Mains scores be considered for admission to the B.Tech program?
No, AEEE is not mandatory. JEE Main scores will also be considered for B.Tech admission.
What is the syllabus and question pattern for AEEE?
The questions (MCQs) will be based on the State Board of Higher Secondary Education and the CBSE syllabus.

Physics: 25 questions
Chemistry: 20 questions
Quantitative Aptitude: 10 questions
English: 5 questions
Total Duration: 2.5 hours with negative marking. Three marks will be awarded for every correct answer, one mark will be deducted for each incorrect answer.

What are the eligibility criteria for B.Tech admission?
A pass in 10 + 2 (Class XII) or its equivalent examination from a recognized board with minimum 60% aggregate of marks in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry and with not less than 50% in each of these three subjects, Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.
When can I get my AEEE ranking?
After each AEEE phase, your performance will be shown in percentile. The final rank is published after all phases, and the best percentile is considered for assigning the rank.
When will the CSAP process begin?
Applicants can apply for seat allotment after the AEEE rank declaration. A CSAP registration link will be sent to applicants.
What is the counselling fee?
The counselling fee for CSAP registration is INR 5000.
Is the counselling fee refundable?
Yes, the fee is refundable only if none of the preferred branches are allotted until the end of CSAP.
How are scholarships awarded to students?
Scholarships are awarded based on entrance exam rank. The scholarship slab depends on rank, branch, seat availability, and the number of applicants.

No, scholarships are awarded based on entrance exam performance (AEEE or JEE).
How can I prepare for the AEEE exam?
To prepare for AEEE:

No, we do not have a cutoff system for AEEE or JEE. Seat allocation is based on students’ ranks in AEEE/JEE, the number of applications, and applicants’ preferences, which vary each year. All applicants with AEEE/JEE scores are eligible to register for CSAP (Centralized Seat Allotment Process).

How can candidates book exam slots and download the admit card for AEEE 2026?
Registered candidates must select their preferred “DATE AND TIME” through the admission portal during slot booking, subject to availability. Slot booking must be completed on or before the last date.
Admit cards are provisionally issued to candidates who have successfully booked a slot. Once booked, candidates can download their admit cards from the portal. The exact dates for slot booking and admit card release will be announced soon.
