Amrita Alumni Shruthi Kamath, Ethical Hacker and Security Analyst with Infosys, shared her thoughts on women involvement that can help Information Security industry evolve. Shruthi Kamath graduated from the Amrita’s Bengaluru campus with a BTech degree. 

17th Amrita Alumni Meet of Coimbatore Campus Held

The 17th General Body Meeting of Alumni Association of Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Amrita University was conducted with great fervor at the  Coimbatore Campus. Around 200 Alumni from all walks of life including self made entrepreneurs to civil servants and from US to Middle East attended the joyous event. 

Successful Graduates Attend First Alumni Meet of Amrita School of Engineering, Bengaluru

Over sixty alumni from the Amrita School of Engineering, Bengaluru came together at their alma mater for the first alumni meet on August 2, 2014.  The meet was attended by alumni working at esteemed positions in companies such as: Cisco Systems Inc.

Alumni Meet at Coimbatore Campus

On February 28, Amrita’s Coimbatore campus hosted a well-attended alumni reunion. Although planned initially as the Alumni Meet for the Amrita School of Engineering, large numbers of alumni from the campus Social Work and Communication programs participated as well.

New Chapters Launched by Amrita Alumni

The months following the first-ever global Amritian Reunion Meet in Bangalore in February have seen Amritian chapters being launched in several cities all over the world. Amritians are now working or studying in several countries in Europe, USA, Australia and Asia. Amritian chapters are active in the US, UAE and Singapore, besides several of the Indian cities. These local chapters provide a platform for the Amritians staying near each other to come together, have fun times and collaborate on activities of relevance to their alma mater, regardless of which campus or school they may have studied in.
