My PhD in Rehabilitation robotics from National Institute of Technology-Calicut, India, under the supervision of Prof. P. K. Rajendrakumar and Prof. K. S. Sivanandan. Currently, I am working on the design and development of a lower limb exoskeleton for rehabilitation.
My research activities include the design and development of lower limb exoskeleton for rehabilitation, the effect of surface conditions in muscle activity and electromyography signal based control of the supporting devices. I have worked on the external and internal parameters which affect the human joint torque under the different surface and walking conditions. My areas of interest include Product design, Robotic, Bio-mechanics, Structural analysis, 3D printing etc. I worked as an assistant professor at National Institute of Engineering Karnataka (2020-2022) and Heera College of Engineering and Technology, Thiruvananthapuram in the period of 2013to 2015. I have guided many M-Tech and B-Tech students to pursue their projects and in writing papers. I have twenty seven publications which include seven international journals and twenty conference proceedings. One patent is applied for my invention in the field of the load-carrying device.
