Amrita Ayurveda Students Win Prizes at ‘Jnaanarnava’ National Thesis Competition

As a part of the National thesis level competition, Jnaanarnava, held in connection with the function to honour Padma Bhushan Dr. P. K. Warrior on his hundredth birthday, Amrita School of Ayurveda secured four prizes from different categories and the details of the winners are as follows:

1. Dr. Vipinsha R. S., Department of Panchakarma, Amrita School of Ayurveda, won First prize in Category one for his thesis titled “Validation of the Objective Parameters in Samyak Snigdha Lakshana Assessment”.
2. Dr. Deepthi R., Department of Swasthavritta, Amrita School of Ayurveda, won First prize in Category two for her thesis title “An Analytical Study on the Effect of Takra as Anupana to Sakavarga in Enhancing Bio-accessibility of the Micro Nutrient Zinc”.
3. Dr. Arya S. Menon, Department of Salyatantra, Amrita School of Ayurveda, won second prize in Category three for her thesis titled “A Comparative Clinical Study to Assess the Effectiveness of Murivenna Versus the Standard of Care in Stage I Pressure Ulcer”.
4. Dr. Jwala Jayaram, Department of Salyatantra, Amrita School of Ayurveda, won second prize in Category two for her thesis titled “Pre and Post Clinical Study in Management of Xerosis Cutis with Cashew Shell Oil Cream”.
