Prashant R. Nair, Vice-Chairman, Department of Computer Science and Engineering, Amrita School of Engineering, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Coimbatore, was selected for the following international and national boards and conference committees in 2016:

• Chair of Publications and editor of IEEE Madras Section, the largest section world-wide of IEEE. Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) is the largest professional body in the world with over 400,000 members. IEEE publishes a third of all scientific literature in the fields of electrical engineering, electronics, communication, instrumentation, computer science and information technology as also standardizes all technologies in these domains.

• Member of the Program Committee of the following premier European conferences located at France, Germany, Spain and Portugal:
