Bio

Dr. Jyothish Lal. G. currently serves as Assistant Professor (Sr. Gr) at the School of Artificial Intelligence, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Coimbatore Campus.

Jyothish Lal finished his B. Tech degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering from Cochin University of Science and Technology. He obtained his master’s from Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham in Computational Engineering and Networking. Prior to Post Graduation, he had 3 months of experience as Network Field Engineer in HCL Infosystems Ltd and 6 months on the job training in HCL carrier development center. Later, he worked as an Assistant Professor at Karpagam Institute of Technology, Coimbatore for 3 years.

Jyothish Lal did his Ph. D at the CEN department, under the guidance of Dr.  E. A.  Gopalakrishnan (Associate Professor at CEN and Ph. D from IIT Madras). His research majorly focused on analysing time-series data from the human speech production system for characterizing and predicting the dynamics of the system.
