Bio

Dr. P.R. Janci Rani’s research is centered around advancing knowledge in Community Nutrition and Public Health, with a particular emphasis on improving health outcomes in vulnerable populations. Her work focuses on pre- and post-natal nutrition, aiming to support maternal and child health through evidence-based dietary interventions. By studying the nutritional challenges faced by communities, Dr. Janci Rani seeks to develop innovative approaches to combat malnutrition and enhance overall well-being.

In addition to her focus on community health, she is actively engaged in the development of functional foods—nutrient-rich products designed to provide specific health benefits beyond basic nutrition. Her expertise in food product development enables her to contribute to the creation of health-promoting products that address key nutritional deficiencies. Moreover, Dr. Janci Rani also focuses on optimizing food service management practices, ensuring that healthy, safe, and nutritious food is accessible to all. Through her research, she continues to impact both the academic and practical aspects of nutrition science, promoting healthier communities.
