Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham has been accredited (Cycle-3) with an A++ the highest grade by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC), an autonomous body established in 1994 by the University Grants Commission (UGC) of India to assess and accredit institutions of higher education in the country and headquartered in Bengaluru.

Amrita Ayurveda Student Wins First at Prize Money Yoga Competition 2021

In connection with the 7th International Yoga Day, June 21, 2021, by the grace and blessings of our most beloved Amma, Sri Mata Amritanandamayi Devi, Chancellor of Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Amritraj S., 4th-year prof. BAMS UG Student (2017 Batch) of Amrita School of Ayurveda won the first prize in the "Prize Money Yoga Competition" among 30 entries from South India, conducted by "National Ayush Mission (NAM)" and "Ayurveda Medical Association of India (AMAI) Yuvatha", for Ayurveda Colleges. The prize comprises a cash prize of ₹ 5000 and a certificate of recognition.

Dr. Keshav Baliram Hedgewar Healing Honor 2021 for Amrita Ayurveda Research Director

Dr. P. Ram Manohar, Research Director, Amrita Centre for Advanced Research in Ayurveda at the Amrita School of Ayurveda, has been conferred with the Dr. Keshav Baliram Hedgewar Healing Honor for the year 2021. He was recognized for facilitating integrative and preventive healthcare.

Amrita Student Wins First Prize in Paper Presentation at Global Ayurveda Festival 2021

Dr. Rahul V. J., Second Year PG Scholar, Department of Samhita and Siddhanta, Amrita School of Ayurveda, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Amritapuri Campus, won the first prize in the scientific paper presentation (Oral) in Siddhanta Samhita category, conducted by the Fourth Global Ayurveda Fest (GAF) 2021, which was held online from March 12-19, 2021. 

Amrita Professors Make eMap E-learning Modules for Ayurveda Panchakarma Funded by AYUSH Ministry

The professors of the Department of Panchakarma, Amrita School of Ayurveda, Amritapuri, are developing e-learning modules for a project titled, eMAP- e-learning Modules for Ayurveda Panchakarma. The project initiated on January 29, 2021, was funded by the Rashtreeya Ayurveda Vidyapeeth, Ministry of Ayurveda, Yoga & Naturopathy, Unani, Siddha and Homoeopathy (AYUSH), Government of India.

Amrita Ayurveda School Conducts Charaka Tatvamritam 2020 Seminar
