Bio

Dr. Adwitiya Mukhopadhyay is a faculty member at the Department of Computer Science, Amrita School of Computing, Mysuru, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham. His teaching and research interests span Cyber Security, Malware Analysis, Cyber Forensics, IoT Security, and Secure Systems. He is actively involved in developing intelligent and secure solutions for emergency response systems and smart community infrastructures.

He currently serves as the Research Head and leads the Thrust Area Group (TAG) on “Intelligent and Secure Solutions for Emergency Response and Smart Communities.” His research work focuses on applying artificial intelligence and machine learning techniques for real-time monitoring, risk prediction, and resource management in emergency healthcare environments, particularly for mobile emergency patients.

Dr. Mukhopadhyay has extensive teaching experience in areas such as malware analysis, network security, operating systems, and cyber forensics, and actively mentors student research projects in cyber security and intelligent systems. His broader research interests also include affective computing, secure edge devices, and cyber defense strategies for emerging digital infrastructures.
