Bio

Dr. Shiva Prasad K, obtained his PhD in Chemistry from the University of Mysuru and pursued his postdoctoral studies at Indian Institute of Science, Bengaluru. He is presently working as a Research Head at Amrita University, Mysore Campus.
His research interests include Chemical Biology, particularly the design and synthesis of drug-like small molecules as enzyme inhibitors and other biologically important. His work is also focused on Materials synthesis and their applications in Environmental Remediation, Biology and Forensic Science.

He has published over 320 Scientific articles in Internationally reputed journals and over 25+ patents to these Scientific credits.

He serves as Associate Editors in well reputed journals like Nature Scientific Reports, Frontiers in Chemistry etc.

He is a recipient of prestigious fellowships such as Dr. D.S. Kothari Postdoctoral Fellowship and Research Fellowships for Meritorious Students in Science, UGC, Govt. of India.

He has been recognized in the Top 2% Scientists by Stanford University.
