Bio

Dr. Shiva Prasad K obtained his doctorate in Chemistry from the University of Mysuru. He specializes in Bioinorganic and Materials Chemistry.

He was awarded a funded project from the University Grants Commission, Govt. of India to work drug design and discovery in 2014.

With his extensive teaching and research experience, Dr. Prasad inspires students and motivate them towards gaining both basic and advanced knowledge in the field of Chemistry.

Dr. Prasad is a recipient of prestigious fellowships like Dr. D.S. Kothari Postdoctoral Fellowship (DSKPDF) and Research Fellowships in Sciences for Meritorious Students (RFSMS) from UGC, India.

He has been invited as a resource person for invited talks and he serves as a panel member of doctoral advisory committee at various universities such as VIT – Chennai campus, Davangere University, SJCE – Mysuru etc.
Dr. Prasad has established his research collaborations worldwide. To name a few, his national collaborations includes premier institutions viz., IISc, Bengaluru, VIT, IITD, JSSAHER etc. and international collaborations includes Kansas State University, USA, Federal University of Amazonas, Brazil, Research investigation centre, Mexico, King Saud University, Saudi Arabia, etc. He has 13.2 years of teaching experience and 14 years of research experience.
