About

ICAM-2022 will be one of the biggest international online meeting exclusively dedicated to advanced 2D Materials. We hope that the conference will be extremely useful to researchers working in the field of 2D materials and people from diverse backgrounds are expected to attend the conference thereby making it truly interdisciplinary in nature. This symposium will bring together a panel of highly accomplished experts in the field of advanced 2D Materials. Talks will encompass basic studies and applications and will address topics of novel issues, difficulties, and breakthroughs in the field of advanced 2D Materials. The conference will feature keynote addresses, a number of plenary sessions, invited talks and contributed lectures focusing on specific tenets of 2D materials.

The conference is expected to cover diverse areas of 2D materials with the session divided into following parts:

  • Synthesis and Characterization of various 2D materials- 3 sessions including a part of poster session.
  • Characterization of 2D materials
  • Application of 2D materials (3 sessions)
    • Energy storage devices
    • Catalysis
    • Photocatalysis
    • Water purification
    • Biomedical industry
    • Sensors
    • Electronic industry

Chief Patron: Sri. I. B. Manikandan, Director, Amrita School of Engineering, Chennai, India.

Convener(s): Dr Sarathchandran C

The proposed conference is expected to have talk from different areas of 2D materials divided into 6 main session extending over 3 days. Due to the prevailing COVID-19 situation, the conference will be conducted in online mode. This is further justified by the fact that it will be difficult to get permissions form the External Affairs Ministry and Ministry of Home Affairs. All the participants will be provided with conference proceedings and certificate. All the talks and posters presented in this conference will be subjected to peer-review by at least 3 international referees and the modified manuscript will be published as a special issue in materials today: proceedings by Elsevier.
