Dr. Valsalachandran K. currently serves as Professor at the Department of Commerce and Management, School of Arts Humanities and Commerce, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Amritapuri Campus. He started his teaching career in the Research Department of Commerce Fatima Mata National College, Kollam, in the year 1994.

Associate Professor, Fatima Mata National College (Autonomous) Kollam, Kerala from 11-10-1994 till 31/05/2021 and acted as HoD for the last two years. As a faculty in the area of Finance and Management he has taught Management concepts and thoughts, Managerial Economics, Principles of Management, Management Information System, Income Tax Law and Practice, GST, Financial Management, Accountancy, Costing and Entrepreneurship for B. Com, M. Com., MBA (IGNOU), and CA programs.
